At the end of this post I will be offering you an in-depth side hustle course I have created to help blue-collar workers like you and me make extra money and build to financial freedom.

I will give you the 3 full proof side hustles, basics of getting the sale, and how to price your services.

You can take the information in this article and get rolling, or you can enroll in my course for step-by-step how to exactly get to $10,000 and beyond.

The Side Hustle Ideas

There are many different ways to make side cash as a concrete worker. If you already know what you want to do for a side hustle, skip to the next section to learn the basics of selling.

If you have the motivation and are willing able to put some extra work in, below are 3 tried and true side hustle gigs that will get you making money in no time.

Mailbox Installation

Every singe residence in America has a mailbox. Whether you live in a condo complex, single family home, or mobile home; in one form or another you have a mailbox.

For our purposes we are looking for the quickest and easiest route to making extra money. Single family homes with a single mailbox by the road.

Almost all single family homes fit this criteria and you will have zero problem finding customers who need a new mailbox post.

Most people do not view a mailbox as something necessary to invest money in or to have be super fancy so we are looking at quick remove and replace procedure here.

A standard mailbox has a wood post and a steel box and is pretty light weight and small for you to haul away and install a new post and box.

Costs: $45

Price: $97-147

# to $10,000: 70-100

Concrete AC Pad

Let’s stick with single family homes as our target market because of the high amounts of side hustle opportunities.

Each single family home also has an exterior air conditioning unit either sitting on a frame, plastic bottom, or concrete pad.

The longest lasting option and best to protect your AC unit is to have it sit on a solid concrete pad.

Installing the concrete pad is super easy and will take you no time to get the hang of.

You will need a couple of 2×4’s, some stakes, and bags of concrete.

The tricky part comes once you have finished framing and pouring the concrete under the existing AC unit.

There is a pipe connected to the AC unit that CANNOT be bent or broken. So be careful lowering the AC unit onto the new concrete.

Read the Concrete AC Pad Blog to learn step by step how to do this well.

Costs: $40

Price: $147

# to $10,000: 94

Concrete Wash and Sealing

One of the best ways to ensure your concrete will last a long time is by regularly washing and sealing it. Most people invest quite a bit of money into their concrete projects, so it is an easy sell when you offer them a solution to protect their investment.

To get started you will need access to a power washer.

You can buy one for around $350 https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-2800-PSI-2-3-GPM-Cold-Water-Gas-Pressure-Washer-with-Briggs-Stratton-Engine-CARB/1000730676

Or rent for $80/day at most hardware stores http://homedepot.com/p/rental/Mi-T-M-or-Karcher-2000-2700-PSI-Pressure-Washer-CA-2703-HDHB/309005732

Power washing and sealing is pretty self explanatory. Clean the concrete as best as you can and apply a topical or penetrating sealer to the concrete after it has completely dried.

I have gone into more detail in the power washing and sealing blog.

You can charge $1/sqft to wash and seal. So an average 2 car driveway will go for $300-$500.

The more square footage you do the quicker you will get to the $10,000

Cost: $.2/sqft

Price: $1/sqft

# to $10,000: 12,500 sqft or 33 average driveways

You are an able and capable man and can make an extra $10,000 if you stay dedicated to the process.

It might take a little time to get the wheels rolling on the sales momentum. Start with your closest proximity and do not give up.

When you get sales and do good work, you ask for referrals and the momentum rolls.

Good luck and have fun!
